At least four decades under cover

After four decades hidden by undergrowth, monuments in section M C are now being revealed. This is just one of them, and its condition is remarkable. The Maud family were drapers during Victorian times. Other monuments include those of the Gill family, Duckitts, Jenkinson, Turner, Rhodes and Simpson (Fruiterer). None of the memorial inscriptions for monuments in this area have, as far we know, ever been recorded.
